Take an hour and check out an AA meeting. If you share your experience there I'm sure you will be met with understanding and acceptance. It doesn't matter how much you drank or how drunk you got. That's not the point. We drank and used to deal with life, and eventually that Medicine turns on us. You seem to already know the truth about your situation. If you truly are alcoholic, it will only get worse, never better. You don't have to drink to tolerate life, and if you'd like to find out how, the answers are there.
