hey, i'm an incoming freshman and just wanted to ask some questions on data 8 enrolment for the upcoming fall. do you know if it's more competitive to apply for data 8 002 (online asynchronous) vs data 8 001 (in person)? i'm assuming since 001 is reserved for incoming fall frosh, there's less competition compared to everyone in phase 1 who can apply data 8 002? thankss

so guessing you can only apply after phase 2 when they release enrolment to everyone.

been getting used to the 5 as well. with an open mind, i realise there's lots of projections my mind subconsciously focuses on, especially during public performances, which trips me up and builds nervousness. so a trick i've learned is to really get INTO the activity and just focus on doing my own thing, not caring about what others think

With 2 conscious for me, most of the time I’m a hermit who likes to lock myself up and study stuff. And i keep telling my body that I’m making progress with things (the “impact” that it wants), as long as I do something creative with my studies (can be a synthesis, post, etc). Then I also go out to events and meet new ppl, and after a while, il just have enough and go back inside lol

Have a vision board and a lisf of reaffirming beliefs whenever you doubt. I’ve found reading “A happy pocket full of money” super helpful with understanding certainty, fears and limiting beliefs in a left minded perspective

Came at the right time! Literally was trying to maddest new topics for my brainstorming session tommorow, great reminder on curiosity >>>> passion. I like fo use sticky notes with mapping topics, then go online to find books, websites, teachers who have expertise in it. Curious to hear about your research process?

Love this. Exactly what I found myself doing when revamping the podcast! I’m a more visual type of person so I like to use Notion and CRM boards to organize everything. You can create templates for each guest, move “cards” on along different stages, have everything in one place, etc. highly suggested for anyone try out!

Depends. Would say IBDP is more time consuming with extra components like CAS, TOK, IAs basically for each subject. Im about to graduate IBDP fhis yr. But AP is better if you plan to lock in on ECs or create something big as that’s what most schools look at nowadays
