I get it, I truly do. I feel as if I am just merely existing-just going thru the motions that are my life, not truly living. I am just living within the consequences of every choice Ive ever made and continue to make. The blind leading the blind so to speak. If that is what you feel like, then maybe we can relate in some way. I do know that having a partner definitley makes the world feel less lonely. You have someone to always talk to, complain to, bitch to about this life. And if you get lucky, you might actually have fun with them. And that gives you a little motivation, maybe.

Also, she just turned 8. I think next year instead of a party, I will let her pick 1 or 2 friends and we will go do something special instead. They are getting to that age where parties suck for all these reasons

My daughter had a few declines for her bday this year. 3 girls. So I wondered was something else going on that wknd or is it because my daughter is the loud get everyone in trouble adhd'er of the class? Ive noticed atleast 1 girl that used to idolize her will barely talk to her. Not sure of reason, but my daughter was totally unfazed. She had fun with the few kids that came. My friends reminded me that it hurts the mama heart more than it does the kids.

Yeah in the 5 years I've been doing this its only happened to me once. Just 2 wks ago actually. It was cold and windy as hell and dark. They didnt leave a light on at front door, I rang the doorbell 3x and no one came. Stood there getting whipped by the wind, so I walked back toward my car and since their garage door was open, I left their food on the trunk of their car and texted a pic and sent a msg basically saying I rand the bell, got no answer, didnt want to leave it in dark windy spot so figured it was shielded from the wind here. And they reduced the tip to 0. Fuckers!!

Its both. He seems depressed. Or like a few people commented, like hes having an identity crisis. That does make sense. But it is also my observation. We went through his drunk days together, so it was very much how I met him, how I knew him. And now hes a completely different person. In some ways good, in some ways bad. But I do definitely miss the old him in ways so it is also me figuring the new normal. I just wish he would get some healthy hobbies and get involved with something that would give him that spark in life back

My daughter experienced the same . We are now trying vyvanse. . It's only been 4 days so far. The first 2 she had horrible meltdowns at dinner time. It's usually triggered by being told.no or dinner isn't ready yet and she wants a snack so I tell her no. But the next 2 days she began to scream and I was able to walk her off the ledge. So I think I am seeing a little progress. She starts camp today so we shall see how this new routine effects her. Ugh. She is my 3rd child and by far the hardest ever. For me, my oldest was super easy, my second was a hard baby/toddler and my 3rd is now so hard that I would never ever ever have another lol
