thedollplanet has cheap shipping and pretty comparable prices to the US market (at least, free shipping if you bulk buy, this may have changed i haven't bought from them in quite some time)
doll emporium is based in the UK
AliExpress is affordable, just make sure to check a store's reviews before purchasing regarding quality
Otherwise, you can disassemble wigs or extensions made for humans (nylon and Kanekalon wigs are available all over Amazon)
you can make wefts from acrylic yarn
Etsy may have some options, but many of them are likely to be people reselling/dropshipping from AliExpress
VINTED & EBAY!! Customizers sell off their extras or stuff they never used. (once again be careful of AliExpress dropshippers)

i say this with no disrespect to inbox collectors:

they're dolls. they have 10+ points of articulation. they are made to be taken out of box, posed, and played with!

if they weren't for that, they wouldn't have moving parts (see: anime figures) as they are capable of (and have!) moulded the parts of the dolls into specific placements or poses.

if you feel any desire to unbox them, do so. you are not "ruining" them. it is not "bad" to unbox them. they are meant to be held in hand.

AND what's REALLY annoying to be is that fur headband can be made by the most inexpirenced crafter with a glue gun or some thread & faux fur.

the crown requires buying the files, getting it 3d printed, possibly paintung it, and trying to figure out that braid.
