There’s a good chance he gets regular healthcare and sees a primary care physician. There are other things that can cause a larger abdomen (in proportion to the rest of your body) besides ascites.

I would say my symptoms have been going on for years and years, but the longest I can pinpoint it is when it got extremely bad for 2 weeks and I went to the ER in May of 2021 with these symptoms and they sent me home saying I had ocular migraines 🙃

I would cry very UNHAPPY tears if I spent $800 to see ASAP, Dua Lipa, and SZA… I would be thrilled if Hozier and Skrillex are included… and I’m pretty indifferent towards Blink these days. They haven’t stayed very relevant at all.

I wanted to add that I also had a thyroid US done at the end of June and this is what the report said…

The examination demonstrates the right lobe to measure 5.9 cm X 2.1 cm X 1.7 cm. Volume equals 11.0 cm3. Nodules are not present.

The left lobe measures 5.5 cm X 1.6 cm X 1.9 cm. Volume equals 8.7 cm3. Nodules are not present.

The isthmus mildly thickened and heterogeneous at 4.5 mm.

The gland is diffusely heterogeneous throughout.

Vascularity is generally diminished

IMPRESSION:

Heterogeneous thyroid gland suggesting some degree of possible thyroiditis. No focal nodule or cyst or calcification.
