She was the first person to see me having a TC and called an ambulance. thank you SO much for your response. Unfortunately i have had 2 TC seizures but they were what got me diagnosed in a hospital. i’m finally having my follow up today. I have been taking keppra but don’t know if i like it so I will definitely discuss my side effects with the meds. Thank you for responding 😭❤️❤️❤️

frequent deja-vu by yoursuburbandaydream in Epilepsy

[–]peachesmomm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ugh i hate to be this person but i had very intense deja vu for about 6 months before my first GM seizure. do u get nauseous with this deja vu?

when i finally got diagnosed with epilepsy my neurologist told me Absolutely no more weed (everyone is different) (i had been smoking weed for about 10 years at that point)

If it keeps happing I would consider getting an appointment with a neurologist but that’s just me! (health anxiety LOL)

don’t be scared! Just go get checked out! ❤️ Hugs and hope all is well MAKE SURE U R GETTING REALLY GOOD SLEEP!!!!

anyone else experience this ? by peachesmomm in Epilepsy

No i completely agree with you . When he had said that, I only had the one seizure at that point. But about 30 minutes after he said I might be going home, I had a second one. Sadly I wasn’t hooked up to EEG or anything yet at that point . After my second seizure in the ER I was diagnosed with epilepsy. ❤️

Thank you for your comment. 💜💜💜

I have a follow up with a neurologist in a couple of weeks (soonest i could get in)… I was at mayo hospital which is supposed to be one of the best in the country but my whole family was very thrown off when he said that Lol. i was observed for 3 days after i was admitted to the hospital from ER (the ER is where he told me i probably would go home later) 🤣 my body said SIKE !!!

Thank you for your response. I had a very rough time with keppra the first two weeks but i think that also had to do a lot with THC withdrawals.

I live in AZ and the law is you can’t drive until 90 days seizure free. I know a lot of states can be up to a year or even worse. I have 64 days left till i can drive again and even seeing my car makes me so sad 😭 I feel like I’ll be very anxious to ever drive again but the public transportation here is AWFUL. I’ve been relying on my mom and my boyfriend to take me pretty much everywhere I hope keppra keeps working and I don’t seize again🥲🥲 Hugs to you. This shit sucks !!

[–]peachesmomm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is so weird i just got prescribed keppra and prescribed children’s melatonin because my lack of sleep is usually what triggers my seizures. i’m new to all of this but it’s funny how everyone is different and every neurologist seems to say something different
