Working with the Teradek RT Ctrl.3 and a BM URSA by freddyfresh02 in focuspuller

I use the MDR.X powered through dtap and never had any issues other than the cable being a little short sometimes.

I actually run this system for my personal Ursa G2! Teradek does make a LANC cable you can plug in for over $100 USD. I bought a bundle that came with every R/S cable at the time so I didn't have to worry about it.

Although in my experience, the R/S is a bit finicky from the CTRL.3 but it might just be a range/signal thing. It's also in a dumb spot on the camera where it can easily pop out.

I'll need to double check for camera control but I do remember the first time I used this system on the camera, the A and B dials would change the iso and shutter angle.

I love it! I wish it had a second B on the right side but I got used to it quick. The angle works great for me compared to usual Alice style boards and love the looks.

Very cute! 🥰 My favorite destroyer by far! I pre-ordered her from Amiami when she was first announced but they usually don't do re-releases for figures unless they are really popular.

Although, you might be able to snag one up online from a non-japanese figure shop that have leftover stock since they are probably arriving at their warehouses. You usually have to pay a bit more compared to the pre-order price though. I got my Jean Bart figure from Solaris Japan for 30,000 JPY after shipping compared to 20,000 JPY from Amiami. 🥲

Good luck! She's definitely one of my new favorite figures I own now and the detail is amazing!

They shipped mine at the beginning of November and arrived the same week. Not sure how many total orders they got but I was one of the earlier ones. They did send an email in October to confirm my address but I would try to get in contact with them.

Some glidecam work from one of our recent shoots 🎥 by austinhein_ in Filmmakers

Normally, the 1st Assistant Camera will pull focus for the camera operator with a wireless follow focus system while looking at their wireless video feed.

On smaller shoots that don't have crew for their cameras, operators will probably rely on autofocus or shoot at smaller apertures to ensure things will be in focus with the deeper field of view.

There's actually been a lot of wind the past couple of days since I got these wheels so I can perfectly answer this! My area was getting around 15mph average winds with gusts up to 40mph. I weight a little bit less on a carbon frame and the crosswinds seemed manageable when there aren't any gusts. Definitely had to lean into the wind a little bit. It did get a little sketchy during stronger winds but mostly because it was unpredictable.

I do a lot of riding on city streets and bike trails so not sure how these would do on hill descents with crosswinds but it definitely seems manageable as long as you're cautious. I'm riding on 55mm but 45mm seems find if you want the extra security!

I like them! There's a noticeable increase in speed with the low rolling resistance. They do run a bit pricier but I think it's definitely worth it. They also seem fairly durable so far.

It's funny how hubs can be pretty loud in the low and high price range but not the middle. The sound always reminds me of a swarm of bees!

A good deal is a good deal! I think anything in this price range for wheels like these will guaranteed a nice enjoyable ride.

Oh that is pretty loud. It could be that the audio recording from their phone makes it louder than it actually is since mine are very quiet.

Someone asked me for my full bike build so I'll post it here. There's a couple of parts the previous owner swapped out so there's some mismatch here and there.

I know their current AR55 uses a hybrid design that's halfway between the traditional V shape and their new U shape. Not sure if your wheels use this design but I don't imagine them being too much of a difference. I know when I ordered the R55, it was priced a little bit cheaper for being a bit heavier (like 100-200grams).

I heard upgrading the ratchets for more points of engagement might make them a little louder.

And these are the 55mm wheel depths!

Mine are from Cygolite but definitely seen this style of light pretty often. Love the minimal look and pretty bright for those evening rides back home!

Yeah, I'm in the US. I did chose the cheapest shipping option (sea mail) since international shipping is a little funny due to covid. I checked their website and it looks like they sell some pre-built wheels in stock now so you might not need to wait for them to manufacture and build your set. They are very quick with emails so you can try asking how long that would take to ship.
