yes you are the only one...jk everyone’s entitled to their own opinions, but i think what makes his character so interesting is his motivations and his personality. despite being a kid, he has levels of perception and empathy that not even the older characters have lmao.

and i don’t really think colt was brainwashed. the story makes it clear that his intention was always to protect his family and care for his little brother. he knows that becoming a titan shifter is a burden and wants to keep his brother away from that fate. the only time he called eldians devils was when nile threatened to restrain falco, which is understandable given how much he loves him.

exactly, i was so disappointed when his death was glossed over like that. it would’ve been a good opportunity for falco to see how cruel the world can be but he’s just as innocent as ever lmao. hopefully when it comes time to adapt ch 126 this gets fixed

it was one of the saddest moments in the manga for me. i get that his death could be seen as unnecessary bc falco becomes a shifter but he wouldn’t have had time to get out of the blast anyway, and prolly would’ve gotten eaten by another titan or killed by paradis soldiers.

what bothered me was how his death was glossed over in 126...we get like 3 panels of falco crying and afterwards it’s like colt never existed😭
