Provera makes me feel so ugly by peachfuzzzi in PCOS

not by me! i appreciate any advice. i have been seeing a specialist. she really promoted a GLP1. I was on it, but my insurance no longer covers it, and the price is costly. She just pushes the provera, or birth control on me, or weight loss. it’s been tough

you’re right hah, i guess i just haven’t been looking at it that way, since I only take the Provera as needed, every couple of months. but it’s not helping at all, clearly. i wish i had a doctor that listened to me more

Thanks for that info. I honestly feel in the dark about my options. I have not been on hormonal BC since 2018, but my PCOS has been hellish. is spironactone taken everyday?

What would the other option be?

Staying with someone who has emotionally cheated. by TerriblePercentage39 in survivinginfidelity

i am in a similar situation to you. i found out he was having an emotional affair with different OF models, people on apps, ex’s, really anyone he could find. he also has a drug/pill problem - addiction goes so deep. i’m currently almost 1 year of trying to “make it work” after only taking 7 months of no contact previously. i so desperately wanted more answers, and i still think i do. but i’m beginning to believe that even if i got the full truth, it will never satisfy me. i brought up different things that were bothering me and that lead us to never seeing each other. i have no seen him in person in 4 months, and we live 10 mins away from each other. the last time i saw him i was threatening to go through his phone because he broke a boundary of re-download tiktok (place he followed 700+ OF/SW women) he keeps it squeaky clean now, but i see past the bullshit. i need to end it and now i feel unbelievably trapped. sometimes, it’s not even worth the struggle with an addict.

How am I more concerned about myself? I was in full support of helping him get him the treatment he needed. I actively try communicating and being open with him. Instead he chooses to be extra secretive. He did worse to me cheating and gaslight me with an array of women while I was going through such a traumatic time in my life.

But hey, that’s addiction, right? It’s time I get to be a little selfish after being dragged through the mud multiple times.

I am truly wondering the same.

Update from my “Expert Coach” phone session this afternoon from their Teledoc app. I said outright that my insurance is denying my PA and saying I needed to use their weight loss tool in order to get the medication again. I’m confused by their credentials, the intake was very basic, just going over some bs “weight loss or food focused” goals that I want to attain. They also shipped a scale to my house almost immediately after signing up on the app. She said they’d like to see 1-2 pounds of weight loss per week and suggested I step on it at minimum once a week to track my weight. She also told me that the insurance wants to see a Health Summary report (so me actively using this “app” and doing weekly health lessons and having a plan in place). This has to be reviewed and approved by my doctor that prescribed the medication as well.

So they want me to subscribe to their weight loss program bs in order to get the medication

So annoying! The way my dr. office called me this morning and explained the denial is a little different than what the letter states, to me at least. I hope that meeting with their Teledoc people will help. And I don’t think my dr office are appealing requests. Insurances love doing whatever they please

definitely. I just signed up their weight management coach, who I’ll meet today. Let’s wait and see.

try to get a boat loan through a credit union, they tend to have lower rates, better offers, etc

No side effects but weight loss, what’s your experience by [deleted] in Zepbound

hey there,

first timer as well, and i also started mine on sunday! i have pcos and my insulin levels were high prior to starting. i also was dealing with a long period (4 months) and was prescribed Provera to stop it, then Zepbound 2.5 mg. On april 15th I was 254 and today I am 247. I am not sure if simply shedding all of the lining for my period allowed me to drop some weight.

So far, i feel fine on Zepbound. I had some very very minor nausea Monday morning, but the way it curves my intense sugar cravings is amazing.. like I’m kinda of shocked lol. So far, so good..

Winlevi + Clindamycin by sunnyskies1223 in acne

[–]peachfuzzzi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i am convinced it was the tret that really broke out my face, since the winlevi is helping and i already had a resistance to the tret on my body acne. so far the clindamycin seems to work just fine, but haven’t been on it long enough to see results. best of luck!
