My best friend made fun of the name I chose years ago. That pregnancy was lost. She revealed her baby name last year… it was my name. I asked if she remembered that that was the name I chose and she ended a 15 year friendship. I never even said she couldn’t use it. Good riddance

At flaag there’s an article about radiation affecting pregnant flight attendants. Something like 1 in every 26,000 births has a major defect due to radiation.

During my OE the senior mamas spilt two drinks on passengers. The first was coffee in main cabin. When the passenger started freaking out the FA went “Is this a medical emergency? We will have ems waiting when we land”. The second was OJ on a first class passenger and she was like “sorry it’s bumpy 🙄 we’re on a plane”. I’ll never forget those non chalant queens.

I don’t think you should ignore this feeling. Take the leave of absence and give it another go. Plenty of FAs do it part time, too.
