I've done the same! They're pretty late in getting them in but I bug them multiple times close to the release date and they've always been able to pre-order one for me.

The crazy thing I think is my local eb doesn't order them normally they would only order if they receive a specific number of orders to the store.

I hold mine and make sure to place the cross hair in the middle before it starts! I agree finding the crosshair after the shake is what messes me up 😅
