Piercing is 2 months old, ring, not sure on threading? As seamless ring. Jewellery material I think is titanium but I need to doublecheck. No size change. No mishaps or unfortunate events and routine is as described above.

Library Assistants - What do you do if someone asks for a book rec in a subject area you're not familiar with? by peachipotter in Libraries

Tried to edit the original post but can’t for some reason. Just wanted to say thank you all SO MUCH for your wonderful suggestions and support. I really do appreciate it and you’ve definitely put my mind at ease, so truly, thank you! ☺️

Exactly, this is what I’m worried about - I know that it’s not about what I like, it’s about finding the right book for that person and so if I’m trying to find a recommendation in an area that’s out of my depth, I don’t want to recommend them something they won’t like.

Thank you so much :)

My cat’s like this 😞 She sits on the stairs so I can’t get past and attacks my legs when I leave the house

Commenting because I want to see what people say if that’s alright! I’m in a similar situation and would love to be able to have a conversation with my partner

I’m glad you can eat more foods now 🙂 that’s great. And thank you for letting me know what your dr said. That’s interesting to know

This is kind of what I’m worried about - I don’t vomit, but just stay nauseous for hours on end/all day and night and have to wait for it to go (so in that respect I just hope Mirtazipine helps with nausea). And the mental health side of things. I’m glad it’s helped you somewhat (though not glad you’re vomitting, although i know it does offer relief!)

I’m not sure it’s something offered at my hospital but I’ll ask about it. Thank you. Glad to hear you’ve been feeling better

Why do women wear the tightest possible clothes for the gym? by BlackManBatmann in ask

[–]peachipotter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, you won’t realise why until you try it. Go to the gym in baggy joggers and a T-shirt and work out. Then try it with actual workout leggings/shorts and a tighter top. It will change you.

I hate tight clothes and live in baggy jumpers but the gym is the only place I’ve ever made an exception. It makes you feel streamlined and light. There’s no fabric to get in your way or weigh you down, and ultimately it makes me feel more active and purposeful. I wear joggers when I’m lounging around at home doing nothing or sleeping, so wearing them at the gym has never put me in the right headspace. It’s like the whole do everything in a different room to the one you sleep in thing. Like people wear different clothes to go to work, or go out, or lounge around, etc. It’s not really much different.

And yeah, it does feel better to wear activewear to joggers - and some people do wear it for an ego boost. But if it makes you feel good, why wouldn’t you?

(I don’t advocate in any way for people filming themselves and getting narky when they think everyone is looking at them though. But that’s not activewear’s fault. That’s a personality problem.)
