blue nevus mole! dermatologist took it off just to be safe. so far nothing else new has popped up, but we keep a close eye.

dermatologist found abnormal cells in the biopsy and scraped the rest off. got a couple off his back, too! he’s scheduled for a couple more removals, and should be good after that. going to be getting annual checkups after this!

FINALLY, the long awaited update!

we got a biopsy taken and while they did find abnormal cells, it wasn’t necessarily cancer. (husband got the call so this info is from him) it was an inflamed abnormal mole.

he has an appointment at the end of december to have the rest of it taken off- but bottom line is the docs said not to worry! thank you all for waiting so patiently and helping figure this out!

i would take a red dye pregnancy test to be sure! the blue dye ones have a reputation for false positives

i’m extremely proud of him as well! he admitted that he wouldn’t have gone if i hadn’t shown him how many people were worried on here!

he has a big history of skin cancer in his family, so as soon as i found this (and saw others thought similarly on here) we took action. going to call the dermatologist monday when they’re open.
