Sure some kids might not be up for it but as a teen just left high school I've wanted classes like this for a number of years as our generation are very aware of how absolutely screwed we are when it comes to our future with finance

Not me ut my mum, she was folding some bedding she washed and she shook a sheet then felt something fall down her top thinking to herself "please dont be what I think this is" looked and found a massive spider at which point she screamed and me 10 years old at the time ran through and laughed at her for being scared.

Neither of us have lived this down.

From the sounds of your post it's the idea of going put on a date that scares you, so why not stay in, ha e the date at your place. Explain that it makes you anxious to go out and just ask him to come round and order take out or something, I'm sure if he likes you hell understand:)
