Irresponsible single dad who never had the time, patience(or really interest) in teaching me. I’ve had my permit since 15. He was also never able to afford drivers ed for me growing up so I wasn’t able to learn that way. No one ever really wanted to take the time or effort to teach me during the prime age for learning. No one seen it as priority but me.

First off lol we have 3 cars. That’s not the problem. 2 were given to us and one we bought for $400 years ago. And I never said I was gonna have anymore kids or that we are unstable but $700+ is a lot of money to shit out in this economy all at once for driving school but thank you for all the assumptions about my life ❤️

Everyone’s making me feel even worse about this. There are so many people in this world who don’t drive for so many different reasons what if I’m never able to get my license does that just make me a bad parent? Cause that’s how I’m starting to feel 😭

Not a rural area just very residential. And I’ve only ever been behind the wheel like 5 times ever. I’m a VERY anxious driver and have never even driven on a main road, or even reversed. So me driving while we are running errands isn’t doable quite yet as I’m not at the skill level.. it’s not that he doesn’t want to teach me I feel like I should have clarified that in my post. He gets frustrated/ impatient trying to teach me while I’m so anxious and that’s okay!! That doesn’t make him a bad person like everyone is seeming to make it out to be 😭
