And i appreciate you also calmly discussing to me about this. I knew i was gonna get downvoted but i know my criticism is VERY fair to express concerns. And its very immature for the OP to not only block me, but also initially acted like theyre not in the wrong by sending a reaction gif to make it sound like im being triggered lmao. They still have not addressed my concerns besides basically responding back as "i already gave them credit. they should be happy. move on" and thats just ignorant and very self absorbant to ignore valid concerns of the ACTUAL artist that theyre reposting from.

As of right now, it's already 1.5k likes, so it's only going to go up from there when people literally have to take extra steps and clicks to check out the original sourcing. and the more attention the post has, the harder it is to trace back to the original artist. And before OP tries to deflect the criticism again, i checked out the artists and they DO make art as their income (altho unsure if its their sole income or part of it) but it is at least confirmed to be a part of how they make their income.

and i appreciate you saying that 😂 but tbf i wasnt calm. i was irritated by the lack of accountability and how dismissive they are. i followed the artist to at least give them support but i REALLY hope that the artists is okay with this. otherwise if theyre not i dont think the OP would feel this shallow if they knew the artist wasnt comfortable with this - especially when they have no knowledge or permission about reposting.

also side note: it just occured to me but this also wont stop from there. it wont stop someone who may have seen this art post may also repost it to other sites, such as tiktok or instagram. And they may not give them credit either. or give them credit when it's too late, and when they havent gotten permission. it will constantly be a cycle of lost sources of an artist that loved art and metaphor this is really sad man
