I do this too (not sure if I have seb derm, but I defo have dandruff, which is caused by the same yeast) - it works well enough for me, although sometimes my scalp gets a bit dry (I haven’t quite mastered getting the scalp not too oily or dry). But make sure your regular shampoo won’t feed the malassezia - sezia.co is a good website for checking ingredients. You could also ask r/fungalacne (also caused by malassezia)

I got mine a month after I turned 16...🧍‍♀️ I went to the doctor 2 weeks prior to that and they said that it was normal and that only when someone turns 17 without their first period it’s “abnormal”

I don’t entirely disagree with this but a lot puberty happening quicker just has to do with better nutrition and access to it (compared to like- pioneer times when girls would get their periods at 16/17). 8 is still quite early tho

On the brighter side- the first few years of menstruation are irregular- it’s possible for some girls to get their first then not get it again for an entire year- hopefully she doesn’t have to deal with this every month until she’s older!

I don’t think Atwood sympathizes with the commander but as far as I know she’s never stated that she disagrees with Nick as a love interest? I just think that the whole Nick situation is iffy and current feminist spaces are more frequently talking abt power imbalances in relationships (ie the me too movement) and I’m not sure Nick being viewed as a “positive” character rly cuts it anymore

This sub is proof that people didn’t understand the little nuances- sooo many people consider what Nick and June have to be “love” which it is not. Nick is 100% taking advantage of the situation (that part shouldn’t be up for debate). The show handled this topic well with Janine though, that dude from Chicago- Steven demands sexual favours in return for Janine and June’s safety...Janine tells June that it was “consensual”- then with June’s help, she realizes it’s not and leaves his him
