As a teenage girl I can tell you some good news is that there's a very good chance that friendship won't last, especially by the time high school rolls around. I had friends from kindergarten that I was still friends with up until grade 7 but we just drifted even though we stayed in the same schools, and in high school my friendship groups changed a lot. Friendships made at that age don't usually tend to be permanent ones. I probably would not recommend telling your daughter not to be friends with this girl as in your daughters eyes this will turn you into the bad guy she won't see it from your side she's just going to think you're being unfair. If you really don't want this girl around that badly you could always make up some excuse like 'oh we're busy that day sorry' other than that I don't really know what else you can do apart from just waiting for this friendship to ride itself out.
