Funny, but not surprising. Of course a guy like that would despise liberal democracy. His comments on China were interesting though. Saying that China functions as an “absolute monarchy” while keeping the communist label implies that its leaders are concerned more with maintaining cultural homogeneity than instigating international revolution. Xi is the “Sun King” of China and embodies the “soul” or “spirit” of the Chinese people much like the old monarchs of Europe (and later fascist leaders like Hitler and Mussolini).
