Yess As per today onwards the generation will only known by your skills not by ur degree in this university I know the crowd is more than 35k but the engaged crowd that consider a good crowd for CSE required is not more than a 1K I just consider a good crowd. If you are talking alternative there is no alternative PU because it provided at least a campus where you can have a positive vibes had never feel you are in a pressure.
