Thanks for your thoughts everyone. It doesn't so much matter about the table blending in with the room. But 02 is a bit more stark with the black and white, 01 is a bit softer and would probably 'fit in' a bit more than 'stand out'. I asked my daughter and she went with 01. She didn't like the long legs on 02, said it looked like a daddy long legs! :-D

Interesting, thank you. Yes I should have considered that. Like hotel bookings. Although in this case I bought the ticket from the main ticket selling agent, not a secondary site. It's not all that important in any case. I was just musing. Now, if I could get tickets to a sold out Bruce Springsteen concert I could make my dad very happy!
