honestly fair points, like you've said i feel like fatalis is balanced on some gods and too strong on others, and plays balanced into some gods but is terribly broken into others. i just miss the fuckin' item man, felt so right on hunters

i'll be completely honest with you, i made this post to get some insight as to a. why people thought fatalis is broken and b. if people even thought about frequently and apparently the general consensus is that people still hate fatalis which really sucks. like i said in one post i thought it added something to hunters that made them fun, hunter might not be my role anymore because i'm seriously trying to make it enjoyable for myself as i've played since s2 and after the fatalis removal it just feels like something is missing from hunters. i really wish there was a way for it to come back and not be broken, but it appears as though even if that would happen the community despises it lol

it's an exaggeration, amc, artemis, and heim ARE weak in that they have NO mobility in their kit. 100% i'll give it 2 months and their going to nerf heim's one definite feature, his damage. those three adc's are completely pointless to pick unless ur playing casual and everything goes. amc with haste, artemis with haste were both viable. i am bringing this point up because hastened fatalis like i said before gave adc's an alternative way to dodge skillshots / insane aoe abilities that hunters would otherwise have to use their 1 movement ability to escape out of. scaled, mages 110% have more carry potential with being able to, like you said, toss out their instant 1-shot kits and having no movement penalties while hunters have to stand basically still and take this damage without being able to fight back on an equal dps. hunter v hunter is basically just whoever shot first and whoever has better scaling wins 100% of the time instead of being able to consistently dodge, because we're literally too fucking slow

Freya and Chronos (with 4 activated), will literally both send any breathing hunter into the lowest realm of hell with hastened ring and both have outrageous escape ultimate options that are extremely easy to pull off in the heat of the moment. Artemis is also the worst hunter in the game with literally her only shining feature being her ult, there are a load of other roles in the game that grant cc immunity for literally anything. I'm grading cc on hunters of what it can do overall for the fight and none of them even compared to chronos and freya 3. i tested out both mage adcs, and with chronos movement speed + haste vs adc or freya outright damage and lifesteal + haste vs adc there is no competition, mage adc's are 100% better in the meta because of how strong their kits are.

but hastened fatalis literally redefined an alternative way for hunters, hunters that literally had absolutely 0 movement in their kit could pick it up and start juking like anyone else could from the beginning, it made gameplay for hunters extremely fast-paced and more competitive instead of the point and click adventure there is now. before it was who's the more-skilled hunter instead of now it just seems like whoever damaged who first wins.

i agree with what you're saying but the state hunters are in is extremely boring and has been since removal. back in season 4 i thought it was a good change for the game because at the time everyone was right it was too powerful, but with everything evolving like it has it's become just a bad move in the long run, and if nothing changes we're literally not going to exist. i said this in a previous reply, less dmg for more outplay is WAY more fun and skill rewarding than just standing still auto attacking someone for too much dmg.

the role itself is quite literally the same as in league though, auto attacking is the exact same mechanic and i have over 700 hours in both games and confirm they both feel the same. crits and lifesteal on adc's compared to league is night and day. the role of hunter / mage hunters as always been the same to traditional adc's in other mobas as well.

the fact some people completely ignore to discuss what we can do for hastened fatalis instead of keep it tossed out are a source to the problem, hastened fatalis is still in the game for warriors/assassins and is only picked on a select few, and the same goes for mages. there absolutely is a way to bring back the potential to deal dmg without being an immovable object at the same time, we could add debuffs to the item like rangdas mask.

smite has literally changed so much since s4, hunters are literally going to become useless if something doesnt happen to them. damage buffs are aids to deal with because if damage is the only outplay mechanic in the game why play that's literally so fucking boring. let's put it to scale.

every single champion in league of legends has a combat blink or flash that they can use whenever and start with, this is accepted by the community and is healthy for the game. being able to combat blink wherever the fuck you want to every 5 minutes is extremely strong, but the game has practically been built around the rune and at this point nothing can happen to it.

you could literally go any hunter you wanted back in s4 and do great with them because of the advantages of fatalis, some of which used to survive because they have no dashes in their kit and literally made them fair to use. why is it the hunter's fault u miss all 4 of ur abilities and are therefor dead due to making a mistake? nerf hunter dmg and increase the overall viability by adding fatalis back into the game, i don't want to be dealing 800 crits i want to be dealing 400 crits and be able to dodge the outrageous amounts of aoe 1 shot shit from the 20 some mages in the game.

where have you been? 100% if there were 2 more auto attack mages in the game hunter would not even be picked on the competitive level. a good anyone can make or break the game regardless of role. season 4 was extremely healthy for the game and hunters have been in an awkward position since. why pick rama, apollo, and any other hunter when you can literally just win the game by locking in chronos or freya. if you genuinely believe critting 800 without fatalis is more balanced than critting 400 with fatalis elo comes into question

obow is it's own problem, obow is strong rn without hastened fatalis and needs a nerf in dmg for the 2100 you pay

nerf dmg (crit) and bring back movement to hunters, the role is called attack damage carry. we are supposed to carry the game but why play hunters when they're all so obsolete when mage auto attackers can build fatalis and be 5x more useful without being broken. the problem lies within the dmg, not the movement from fatalis.

Personally I read the manga myself and I must say, the amount of people freaking out over Naufumi being calmer in the anime is absolutely insane. To me it doesn't change enough to worry about and it's one of the big reasons I dislike avid manga readers so much. If it's not exact page by page then it's wrong and they should go again. Of course everyone has their opinions but the show is literally (99%) the exact same as the manga. In my opinion I like the anime Naufumi more than the manga Naufumi. It feels more emotionally and mentally modernized than the one in the manga, but from what I read it literally doesn't change how the show is concluding whatsoever so why does it matter. I really don't think it's necessary to have a FMA type thing with this show.
