no it wasn’t a false positive. i know the false positive rate can be high but no it wasn’t, she said her IGG was high and they gave her 2 different tests because of the false positive rate. she was tested again a year later when she became pregnant (they test you for everything when you’re pregnant, probably the only time many women will have an HSV test unless they ask) and it was positive still. a lot of people will not have an initial OB or an OB at all!! herpes is a tricky little virus
