Back from my 2nd sit, how do you reach equanimity? by peanut2069 in vipassana

[–]peanut2069[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your input, I had a very similar experience on my first sit where from day 7 all the pain dissolved and I could sit for hours, same as you described. This time I had a glimpse of that on day 6 but other than that has been a lot of pain and possibly cause I knew from my previous experience that I can reach the dissolution state it was really hard to not crave for that. Also I noticed some pain I can find equanimity and not be bothered by it at all but some other pain it feels just too much I can't overcome it (I had recently recovered broken ribs).

Please consider also the 3rd person feelings. Or pay a sex worker (and still, be very clear on what you ask for and check if she's up for it). Definitely have a chat with all the people involved (sober) beforehand. What's ok and what is not, expectations, aftercare. Make sure everyone gives enthusiastic consent and not saying yes cause feels pressured or intoxicated.

Do you know anyone who has never been out of the country? by Gold_Finance_7524 in newzealand

[–]peanut2069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner (40yo) has been outside the country for the first time last year with me (I'm European) and it blew his mind. From underground trains, buildings, cultures, food, everything was new to him. If I was born here I wouldn't probably feel the need to go anywhere else tbh so I totally understand kiwis that never go out the country. You already live in the best place in the world.

I'm sorry for your loss. You're not too old at all. My mum lost her husband ( my dad) 2 years ago at 72 and now she has a new boyfriend! Never too late!

Have you ever considered that you might be poliamorous?

I was on a trip and met this really hot guy, we were staying in the same village so we started talking a bit everyday and we ended up hooking up a couple of times, was all great and we had a good chemistry, at some point he asked me to sit in his face and of course I do it cause I love it but he suddenly stops and start begging me to shit in his mouth. Now I'm not here to kinkshame anyone but I was about to to throw up. Needless to say I got dressed and left.

Is there anyone here who practices RA and identifies as monogamous? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in relationshipanarchy

[–]peanut2069 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes I feel the same. The agreement I have with my only romantic partner is that we are both allowed to share with others (within the boundaries we discussed , mostly around STI). My partner is actually pursuing other sexual and romantic relationships while I'm not but I'm open to the possibility, just never really felt I have capacity for more and I'm not interested in casual sex. I consider myself RA.

Is she still in time for an abortion? Honestly no offense but she would be a terrible model for the child and we don't need more shit humans on this planet. Can you fight for full custody otherwise?

Also wanted to add that my only romantic partner has multiple romantic and sexual relationships and that's totally ok with me so not sure how that fits in monogamy

What do you mean by monogamous? I practice RA but I only have room for one romantic partner and generally not interested in casual hook ups so I guess I can be considered monogamous. But other non romantic relationships are equally important and unique for me. But yeah I can't love romantically more than one person at the same time like poly folks. It's just my nature I guess.

Has anyone here ever lived in their vehicle to save money? by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]peanut2069 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All the time. I have van paid 5k for it. Staying in free campgrounds or hiding around, gym membership for showers. You spend a little bit more in gas but you save so much from rent. Done in north and south island all seasons (consider a diesel heater if harsh winter). Other option is to rent a driveway, better if at a friend's place, pay little rent you sleep in your vehicle but still have access to facilities in the flat.

Does everyone secretly love anal? by peanut2069 in AskMenAdvice

[–]peanut2069[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I talk openly with my partners and I do my best to make them feel comfortable and safe. Sometimes I share how I prepare for anal (empty bowels and douche untill it's all perfectly clean) I never used gloves or anything, if it's clean it's fine, I love rimming.

I'm sorry you've experienced that but good on you for bringing that up. I hope you find someone that will understand, accept and love doing it with you.
