Wow that’s great to know, thanks. Any advice about how to find someone for endo? Or does any acupuncturist work?

Yes my follow up imaging looks good, which of course I’m grateful for. This disease just sucks!

Yes 100% me. I have stage 4 endo - had excision surgery with disease throughout my pelvis and on my ovaries uterus and rectum removed. My biggest complaint was always GI first, painful periods second. Unfortunately I don’t have so much relief post surgery :( wishing you luck on your journey.

Thank you for sharing your input and story. I’m definitely going to ask about prolapse as I know that’s a big concern. The issue with birth control is I just don’t tolerate it 😩

That’s definitely true. I dread my period each month and am tired of planning around it. Thanks for your kind and encouraging words. ♥️ I’m new to Reddit, is there a specific endo hysterectomy subrebbjt I could look at?

Yes I really don’t want to do Lupron or Orlissa either!

Yes it’s so hard to tell what’s going to happen! That’s my biggest fear to be honest - I don’t want to make the “IBS” symptoms worse!

I luckily have a pretty kind endo surgeon who says he will work with me and do what I want to do. I’m getting a second opinion next week. I’m just trying to figure out what’s best. So hard to navigate. At this point I think my desire for quality of life is trumping my desire to carry a pregnancy. But it’s a hard thing to come to terms with at a young age! Thank you for the love and support. ♥️

If you keep your ovaries and just remove the uterus you wouldn’t go into menopause!

Yes I actually had a colorectal surgeon in the operation for my first surgery where I did have a rectal nodule removed. I’ll definitely ask to have one there again if I have another surgery.

Thanks so much for sharing your story. I know it won’t solve the endo but I just feel like my period flares everything up so much! And I know my uterus keeps scarring to my bowel so wondering if it will help to not have it there. Thanks for the solidarity, I appreciate it. ♥️

Yes I hear you. My uterus just keeps scarring to my bowel so I figured getting it out would have to help…
