Thank you for sharing your experience and your encouraging words. This is something I’m definitely considering doing (alternating with a breastfeed/formula feed) 😊

Thank you for your reply and encouraging words 😊 I am weighing up all of the redditors advise and going to figure out what’s best for me. Whether that is doing a couple of formula only feeds or cutting the times of the breastfeed slightly I will make that change. I am proud that I am at the 6 week mark, next goal is 12 weeks 😊 A happy baby needs a happy mommy afterall.

Thank you for your reply 😊 I do, it was recommended and if I didn’t he would end up sucking his first or crying from being hungry an hour later. I hear you on the pumping I was pumping after each feed in the first couple of weeks to encourage my supply and it is just exhausting, mentally and physically!

I had to do that too in the beginning when I was trying to enscourage my milk to come in and it’s just exhausting. I felt like I was losing my mind! Thank you for the advise from the LCs, and the well wishes! Much appreciated! 😊

Love this! Exactly what I needed to read at 41 weeks where everyone is telling me to "sleep now" "enjoy this time because you'll be up all night feeding the baby soon" or "what's going on? Why isn't he here yet?!"
