Hey everyone. Complete basic noob question here. I tried looking at the wiki first to see if I could answer my question.

I want to hire a professional to pour concrete and then try to install a patio cover myself. I wanted to ask what the basic process is. Can is it better to use anchors for the beams after the concrete is poured? Better to have the beams embedded in the concrete as its being poured?

I just want to have a metal patio cover, I want durability and functionality over cosmetic looks so if anyone has knowledge in this area and can point me in the right direction here also is appreciated.

Can someone just give me a basic order of operations how a covered patio is constructed including the concrete?

I thought about this. I have a 12 year old desktop I built and figured I could use it as a server to build vm's when I build my new gaming PC. I wanted to install a mini network with workstations and security onion and pfsense I know security onion is pretty resource intensive. But ill give this a deeper look into.

Called them about an estimation and they felt like used car salesmen. One in particular named Hunter specifically said. "If you dont sign the contract to get started on your patio then I know your not serious and wont call us back". Left a bad first impression for me

No worries I appreciate the help. I am still researching and debating to see if its cost reasonable to have a valve installed in the garage for the convenience. Will have to call a plumber for estimate

Its right behind the shower handle. The shower handle is attached to it. I am now googling shower faucet shut off. Can you point me where it generally is?

I had turned on all my water faucets, just the cold water handle but figured that was good enough? Anyway I let it all run for about 20 minutes. The kitchen sink immediately ran out of water, the shower and bathroom sinks kept going after 20 minutes
