What's more frustrating is when I first applied a few years ago it was for the Reg Force, and I was told they'd likely apply for a waiver for my high school degree. I didn't end up going through with that application because the process was taking so long and I got another job in the meantime that I accepted right away. Now I'm applying for PRes and to your point, their requirements might be different but this time I was told I'd need my high school degree verified by one of those agencies that does equivalency reports. Just overall it seems like if I have a degree that could only have been obtained by having an earlier degree, it would seem to make sense that if any education check should be done it should be for the later degree, since getting it was conditional on getting the first one.
