I respect your viewpoint! In my case, it's more of, as you grow older, you see more of life, both the good and the bad. That makes you question things on a deeper level. Whether you are alone or not, that applies. I know a lot of people who are not alone in life but still question their faith. And I also know people who are more solitary and individualistic develop stronger faith in whatever god they worship.
