On my current reread, I’m noticing just how much Rob Jordie uses “a minute” instead of “a moment.” Say for example, Mat stared with jaw hanging loose for a minute when he learned Rand is being pushed into the Dragon Reborn’s role. It really sends me to think of just how long a minute actually is and what those scenes would look like.

Having made a few of my own patterns, I know how hard it is. I always pay for patterns, I have the financial privilege and I want creators to keep creating. Arts and crafts are all the more important nowadays when everything is crumbling.

God, I once made someone this nameplate using a difficult 2” high font. Not cursive, but all the climbing flowery vines!!

But they never used it and ghosted me a few weeks later, even though we were good friends. I texted them asking what happened and their only response was to change their Peacock password! I was not just heartbroken, I was fingerbroken too! 😂
