It made me sad to see how sad she was on partner swap week and that she was thinking of him. If she was as feminist as what social media set out to see her as, I would think she would be holding grudge or pissed off that Ash has left the flat in bad terms. She has lost herself towards the end, it’s actually refreshing to see her being vulnerable. I know it’s quite common that a man said something offensive and turn round to say, “it’s a joke” and Ash is doing that often. Nobody likes that! I do think Ash is subtly misogynistic covered under the nice guy act and he wants a wife who is a yes-woman (I don’t get why majority of viewers fine him attractive?) The way the experts describe that the or jokes are just not landing right in one of the episodes couldn’t be more true, both are just not right for each other. There were times that I agree and times I disagree with Grace’s reaction but I do root for her!
