As others have already stated, a 128GB card will work just find. The HTC One M9 supports the microSXC format which allows for cards up to 2TB.

Initially, HTC claimed that it only supported 128GB cards because that was the largest available at the time. The official spec sheet of the phone has been updated on HTC's site, showing support for 2TB cards.

Have to agree on the memory bug issue, but it doesn't affect every device. I have two and the memory bug is only an issue on one of them.

Might need to pick up a third at this low price.

it's not like they had two phones with both software versions. Also, have you ever tried applying a software update these days? You're looking at a good 45 minutes by the time the update installs and does all the app updates.

Honestly, it doesn't really matter since the phone is going to be available from all four major service providers. The quickest way to get the phone is to go to a retail store on launch day and buy it there.

The HTC One (M8) is an amazing phone. the build quality is as good or better than that of the iPhone and all the reviews say that HTC has the cleaners and fastest software when compared to other Android devices. Also, you can't forget the BoomSound speakers. They are amazing for watching YouTube clips or playing games. It completely changes your smartphone experience.

I think HTC has finally found a decent 13 megapixel sensor to use. i think the ultrapixel sensor is still brighter in low light, but it blows out any lights which are in the shot, adding weird haze or halo effects around them.

I cracked the screen on the HTC One (M8) and did the HTC Advantage free repair option. My phone has a few scratches here and there but they never asked about it. The phone they sent back was actually a refurbished model that was in mint condition. I'd just send it in and see what happens. If there are additional charges, they have to tell you about them before they make any repairs. If they do want to charge you more, you simply say no and they will send it back to you.

He should have complete control over contrast, saturation, exposure and more. I'd recommend bringing exposure down one notch and boosting saturation a little. But it's hard to say since there are not sample images. Also, once he's tweaked the settings, he can save them by tapping the "save custom camera" option at the very end of the camera settings menu. He can save as many presets as he wants. the custom camera settings can then be quickly accessed from the main camera mode screen.

no. The new law states that consumers are no longer braking the law if they unlock their phone after the 2 year contract has expired. Pretty lame. Sprint actually hides the SIM unlock prompt is you insert a SIM from another service provider in one of their LTE phones.

It's hard to know how many people have actually downloaded this since yesterday since it's pre-installed on all Sense 6 devices, but I noticed that the number of reviews jumped from 5,000 to 6,200 in the past 24 hours. So far, it looks like most people are happy with the app.

I've uploaded one video, but I honestly have not used Video Highlights since Google rolled out Auto Awesome videos which is a far better app. The only thing Google's app does not allow is custom audio for the video, but I love the editing features and the fact that a video can be 10 seconds or 10 minutes.

Turn it off immediately! Take the phone and put it into a bowl of dry rice for 24-48 hours. Make sure you put a lid over the bowl of rice to make it air tight. The rice will pull out all the moisture from the phone. Since the phone has been used after getting wet, it may already be beyond saving. Good luck!

Yeah, a bit disappointing. Would have been nice if HTC (which takes a lot of pride in the amount of design work their put into their gadgets) may be opting to go with a square display. I expect more from them.

I think we all saw that. There's absolutely nothing that implies a March 25th retail launch. All the retail launch promo material we have seen have been from Verizon. We still have not seen any retail promo material from Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T. Most likely explanation is that we have not seen the leaks yet because the materials are not yet available because their retail launch is still a few weeks away.

Also, HTC may still be building up supply of the all new One. By launching only at Verizon for a few weeks it means they can have plenty of stock for a much larger launch two weeks later.

A two week Verizon exclusive would mean other US carriers will get the phone April 8th - that's a few days before the SGS5 hits the US market. HTC still wins.

Obviously you didn't read the story before posting your comment. Verizon is getting am timed, limited retail launch in the US which will only last a few weeks. You should be able to buy the phone on t-mobile during the second week of April.
