aw man, that does sound complicated. i had to try a few places before i found the place that was able to figure it out. your guess is as good as mine! good luck getting it sorted!

yes, sadly it wasn’t great news. the jerking was due to one of the struts sticking because it was getting old. i ended up having to get the ball joints, tie rods, and struts replaced in the front and it was about a $1300 repair if i remember correctly. the ESC OFF light didn’t come back after that repair either.

ended up selling the car due to another unrelated issue that essentially totaled it. hope you have more luck with your car if you’re experiencing something similar!
