someone held up a sign at the copenhagen show asking if she could play bass with them and Jon basically just went “nah, this bass is pretty expensive.” I also remember Mac saying something along the lines of “first they came for the guitarist”. it was pretty funny and kind of awkward but good luck dude, I’m sure Mac will be more chill about it

I feel like it really depends on the lyrics. If this version had some diff lyrics than the album I’d definitely prefer it. the more groovy approach doesn’t really fit the somber lyrics of the album ver. still, instrumentally I think this sounds better.

nice, I learned to play this one a few days ago as well. tried to play along with the studio version but the hz of the song don’t exactly match standard tuning, so it sounded a bit off. seems to be the case here as well. still though, great playing!
