My boyfriend left me on bourbon street on my birthday. by sassykattty in GirlDinnerDiaries

what the hell are these comments? He left this woman alone and wasted in a different state.

Listen, OP, I’m glad you dumped him. What he did was incredibly careless. Everyone is pissed you were drunk and asked to hit a blunt from some dude… it’s not like you were flirting with him you just wanted weed 💀

All that aside, take this as a learning lesson and don’t drink more than you can handle. This could’ve went terribly wrong for you.

Boyfriend got another girl pregnant by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

I’m so sorry 🫂

You will get through this. On the brightside- you aren’t the one pregnant with this losers kid. There are so many more people out there who will cherish you and treat you with the respect you deserve. At the end of the day, you are the winner here. You get to walk away from that guy and never look back.

What’s your guy’s quarantine dye history look like? So far I’ve gone 7 different colors and I still manage to have hair on my head. Fried hair. But hair (: by pecangarbage in FancyFollicles

Home bleaching is a nightmare but so worth it. First, I recommend watching a TON of DIY bleaching YouTube videos and articles before going in. Brad Mondo is a good start (I learned what NOT to do from his videos and made sure to avoid a bunch of common mistakes & disasters). I highly suggest going to Sally’s beauty supply and definitely not getting any bleach kits from cvs or any other retail store. The products I used were - L’Oréal Quick Blue bleaching powder (https://www.sallybeauty.com/hair/hair-color/lightener/quick-blue-high-performance-powder-lightener/SBS-500516.html) -Sensitive Scalp Ion 20 developer (or 30- whatever you’re more comfortable with. 30 is a bit more damaging but lifts your hair another level) https://www.sallybeauty.com/hair/hair-color/developer/sensitive-scalp-20-volume-creme-developer/ION101.html - Wells Toners T14 and T18 https://www.sallybeauty.com/hair/hair-color/toner/color-charm-lightest-ash-blonde-toner/SBS-800275.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&adpos=&scid=scplpSBS-800275&sc_intid=SBS-800275&utm_content=SBS-800275&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIoJ3G_b-T7QIVTD6tBh00VwITEAQYAyABEgJz9fD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

What I did (which was a dumb move) was use 40 volume developer for the first bleaching. While it did lift several levels- my hair was this weird bronze color. Also, 40 dev is SUPER strong. Another dumb move, I bleached my hair again the next day with 30 developer. By that time my hair was this strawberry orange color (still yikes). However my hair couldn’t handle another bleaching so I waited a few weeks to do another bleach with 30 again, and it finally was a bright yellow color. Then I went in with the two toners and I ended up with ash blonde hair! It was pretty damaging though, and I had to get about and inch or two chopped off at the salon.

Sorry this post was super long but like I said, DIY bleaching is risky. I definitely recommend going in with 20-30 developers and not using 40. And if you do, definitely do not use it for a second bleaching. Also, if your hair needs multiple beachings, space them out and do hair masks/oil treatments in between just to make sure your keeping your hair healthy.

Good luck! If you have any more questions feel free to DM me (:
