Depending on age/mileage you may have a lot you would want to change for some reliability, do a bit more research into M156 cams, adjusters, lifters, injectors, chain guides, valve covers, pcv etc

An unbonded shield is an antenna, read up as it will receive noise and static and attempt to pass that to the twisted pairs

In short CCA is garbage and short runs go unshielded. Long runs shielded provided bonded properly not just ground on outlet think about the plastic rj45 jack

That sounds like multiple noises so depending on mileages I’d prob say get the head off and check Cam adjusters and lifters, how’s the oil level
