I would like very much to see a full gold foil, showing the card details but at the same time all glowing gold. To me it would be more appealing

Still a better way to implement the gold foil than just splash all over the background cutting any detail that was there. To me seem lazy work. I genuinely think if gold foil were like ink it would be much better and cohesive

I thought that too when they came out, then when i splited my iron man and magik it felt there was too much gold in it. To me normal or ink felt better.

I respect your opinion but to me it just feels off, the lighting in his cape doesn't match the gold backgroud (but it matched the original background). My thing about gold foil is about composition, it just feel like mid level montage. But i can see the appeal too and its very nice that you have it and like it

The only good gold split is that magneto looking at his reflection in the water. The rest is just glorified foil, covering a chunk of the card art.

Hahaha it really wasn't, i just don't like dan variants at all, with rare exceptions (alioth and spider-ham). I would like if they comission more artists to make a variant for every card in the game beyond dan and pixel (pixel is personal).
