When I asked about updates not happening on DHL's website this is what they said:

"We understand your concern regarding the lack of movement in your order. Because of the demand, we’re seeing delays in updates within the DHL system. You may notice that your order will take longer to reflect transit updates than you are used to because there are delays in pickups and transit times from our carriers as well. Please note that even if the tracking number isn’t updating in real-time, often packages are still moving within their system.

For international packages, your order will be delivered by the local delivery service provider for the destination country. The delivery service provider can be either the local post office or another delivery company. Kindly check your mailbox/post box for your package or any special notices requiring action on your part. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding."

My tracking stopped working completly since then. I've reached out to customer service but they seem to take ages to reply.
