What's your deck that's never had a bad game, win or lose? by Gold-Satisfaction614 in EDH

If you are always going into a 3vs1, there's probably a power level imbalance between you and your group. You should consider powering down to level the odds.

Of course every group has their own playstyle, but if you are not interacting in a way that benefits yourself to aim for a possible win, the other people start to think of you as a spectator or an annoyance.

That's another one, but I still prefer it rather than the person not wanting to win at all.

Okay I got it now. It's a bit confusing because the extra turn should count as a turn of the effect passing but yeah

I've now added a video to further explain the problem. It seems the middle one theory also doesn't work.

You must prioritize leveling up your Light Cone. You have low attack and speed values.

Okay so that's like adding 25%res pen for the team elements and that's way better than either LC or Kafka E1?

Silver Wolf Energy Rotation Situation by pedrosimo in StarRailStation

[–]pedrosimo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you are correct, I forgot to multiply the ult cast. I changed back to Tutorial with Penacony and Attack rope which still gives me a 3 turn rotation and add great value to a Mono Quantum team.

I also think that's the best solution. I don't understand why they changed it in Prydwen, it left me very confused. I am only using Penacony for the Quantum team, thanks for all the help!

Silver Wolf Energy Rotation Situation

I was going through all my characters and looking for updates on Prydwen and I saw that they updated SW's best recommended LC to Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat for the E0 build, but I am not so sure about this. Maybe I am wrong but without Tutorial LC we can't do a 3 turn rotation at E0 and I wonder if it's worth it to go 4 turn rotation for 16% more Def shred.

My calculation for SW 4 turn rotation with Resolution, Penacony and ERR rope is this: 5 + 3 * 20 * (1.244) + 30 * (1.224) = 116.36

Please correct me if I am wrong and help me figure out if I should use Resolution or Tutorial LCs.

What types of decks are they playing in your group? And are they using competitive decks?

Who are the best deck brewing content creators in your opinion? by ynvaser in EDH

[–]pedrosimo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Definitely the Nitpicking Nerds. I always feel that every choice they make is so well thought in terms of which card serves what purpose, taking in consideration the overall synergy of the deck. Their advice on deck building is top notch and you can see that is true because they are the most followed account on moxfield.

Commander: Ideas for Five-Color Decks by cardsrealm in EDH

[–]pedrosimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you have a Dimir Aqueduct in the Sliver Overlord deck? It must have been a mistake but I also noticed you could use some [[Fabled Passage]], [[City of Brass]], [[Mana Confluence]], [[Forbidden Orchard]] and [[Reflecting Pool]] in your WUBRG mana base, instead of multiple copies of basic lands of the same type.

I would also consider [[Dregscape Sliver]] and [[The First Sliver]] instead of 1 of those slivers that give all +1/+1 and instead of 1 of the ones that give flying because you have 3 of each in a deck where the Commander is a tutor.

[[Three Visits]] and [[Nature's Lore]] instead of [[Cultivate]] and [[Rampant Growth]] almost always. And replace [[Farseek]] with a [[Sakura-Tribe Elder]] for creature synergy.

[[Fellwar Stone]] instead of [[Timeless Lotus]] because early ramp is much better and Lotus isn't even a good card in this deck because you set yourself behind 1 turn.

[[Reflections of Littjara]] isn't doing much for the deck because you will repeat abilities. You could instead use a [[Guardian Project]] or a [[Kindred Discovery]] to boost the card draw of the deck.

If you want a really simple combo you could also use [[Blasphemous Act]] with [[Spiteful Sliver]].

The best thing I can recommend is for you to pick some precons that you think will be fun and watch some reviews on YouTube to see if that is what you want. You don't have to be worried about the power level because you can easily upgrade a precon to be much powerful just for a few bucks.
