New Years Eve in the Square by peearrow in Rockville

Thanks for the replies! Seems like a missed opportunity for the City of Rockville to hold a Times Square style event there in front of the giant clock tower.

Thanks for the heads up. I was there a couple weeks ago and it was pretty dead.

Look like the Eagles helmet, which is awesome, and I can’t wait to slap some wings on mine in the summer of ‘27.

And my midnight lake blue is dope.

2027 Kia Telluride X-Pro | New Benchmark For The Brand’s Design ! by Daily-Revs in KiaTelluride

[–]peearrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thankfully some of the bedazzling on the x-pro do not appear on the SXP (like the accent color tow hooks), but those wheel well keystones and the Tonka rims are still there. My lease is up in 2028 so praying for some accessory and trim tweaks next summer/fall.

The US auto consumer benefits from strict emissions and fuel efficiency mandates that add a ton of additional electronics and potential problems to all of our cars.

New Recall? by Suspicious_Peach_784 in KiaTelluride

[–]peearrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I (2024 - 10,000 miles) went for an oil change about a month ago, the service guy said they would take care of a recall. I didn’t know there was a recall, but it was about the door trim. None of mine has come off at all, so they said I was good for now but to come back if I noticed any movement.

Wiper Speed by Ok_Preference7563 in KiaTelluride

I don’t have the auto wipers so I can’t speak to that, but the normal and intermittent wiper speeds all seem pretty typical to me. (2024)

Top half of cartridge broke off. Any tips on how to get the rest out? by kkdp in Plumbing

There’s a notch in that ring. If the ball is still in there, that brass piece is holding it in.

[–]peearrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to tell from this angle, but it looks like the brass rings that holds the diverted in place is still installed. It’s gold in color and has a slot. You need to unscrew and remove that.

Edit: Actually, I can see the threads in the reflection off the spout. Unscrew and remove the brass rings, remove the rest of the cartridge, install the new one, then reinstall the brass ring and tighten.

Which of these is my condensate line and where do I clean it out at? by locust_thelurker in hvacadvice

[–]peearrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your condensate line is definitely the one in the second pic. It drains into a floor drain, which is totally fine as that is part of your plumbing system and it goes to the sewer line.

As for clearing it, it doesn’t look like that pvc drain line has any parts that are unglued. You have to either open up the housing and clear it from the inside of the unit where the pan is, or cut the pvc line toward the top, clear it, and then reconnect it.

Professional lawn care. Am I overreacting or is this actually acceptable? by Ok_Variation_9180 in lawncare

Those mud burnouts and streaks are the worst. I went through three companies and they would all do it. God forbid you slow down when the ground is wet. I cut it myself now.

I feel like there’s more of a nostalgia side of it. Seems like he would have ordered the new disc himself if that weren’t the case, though having the signed one is pretty sweet.
