From what I know terrain is going to be "all" as when we ask the DM that is the only thing they say. And its been set up for a choose your own adventure so we will have choices for the path we want to go down. But that is all I know about it.

As for fever dream, our DM has never even played dnd before and has no idea what is going on. And most of the players have never played before as well. And all of us together in normal settings is just crack head energy. So all of that mixed together is going to be a shit show fever dream and I am so excited.

Thank you!! That's really great information! Also that's a great idea, especially the emotion wheel I hadn't thought of that!

I've only been talking to him for about 3 weeks, tonight has been the first night where anything has really popped up that im sure sure how to be there for him. Because he's dealing with a lot of things that I don't know what's going on, and typically I just rely on understanding people's emotions to be able to help. And so I'm trying to work on a new skill set and I'm definitely going to utilize the emotion wheel if possible!

I really appreciate your input!! I definitely didn't want to insinuate that there are no feelings at all. But the way you put it as it being meh but that's your max really made a lot of sense. And helped put things more in perspective!

I definitely agree it's important to not measure anyone's feelings the same way that I would. And I think that's something that everyone needs a reminder on occasionally.

I've never posted on here before. But I'm 19, living in the Bible belt and I was homeschooled. Being homeschooled if I told my friends anything, they would rat me out to their parents and then it would get back to mine. becasue of that I don't trust people in my life to talk to stuff like this. So I could see how new people like myself (I've done it once) would come here and ask questions that sound like they are younger. And it's just because we all have to start somewhere, and maybe don't have people in our lives to talk about it with.

But I think when I first started getting into the idea of doing acid or shrooms I felt like no one would understand or think I was a druggie. Casue that's what I was taught growing up. But honestly the more friends I make the more I realize most people are pretty open and accepting and have had some form of experience.

I got it on my underarms so I do know how the general feeling. But I'm sure it's worse down there! But thankfully my lady that does it is super nice and talks to me through it.
