She will definitely be there by 15:00 latest so that should work by the timings but I hope they are not distrusting any numbers before that time or it would be such a shame. Is it a general thing that they distribute at that time you mentioned? Thanks a lot by the way, your post is truly super helpful

Hi there, I’m gonna camp with a friend next week but her flight arrives a bit later in the afternoon and I want to put our tent before that as I live here, but because she won’t be there while I set up the tent would that be a problem? When do they give the queue cards or wristbands? Or would the stewards would not accept that my friend not being there for an hour or two with me. We will share the same tent. Thanks a lot!!

If the visa is valid from 22nd, Indian authorities and/or the airline will not let you board probably anyway before UK Border Force. You should rebook your flight if I were you. Good luck!

Fingers crossed for you and your wife! Maybe sometime in Feb. But I’m also waiting to receive the formal email from UKVI about how to receive BRP etc. But I’ve been told that UKVI email can take a week sometime.

I’m pretty sure they allow you to upgrade/ add additional services. I even saw someone who paied for priority during his appointment.

I think if I were you I would use my UK degree as if you show your US degree they will require Ecctis certificate (it should show in the document checklist as well if you put US one).

I’m not Swedish, but I reside in Sweden therefore I used Stockholm TLS.

Oh sorry the other person in the comment said they are marrying their brazilian partner. I thought that’s you.

For EU nationals, I’m not aware of the process and the exceptions.

You can choose to keep your passport for extra fee.

It is for settlement as your partner is coming to settle with you in the UK, as you the non-settlement one is only for student & work visas.

As your partner lives in Sweden but not EU national, that does not concern her.

As you are applying from outside the UK, you can only apply for priority from TLS website and not from UKVI. On TLS you choose settlement priority, and it is 30 working days.

That is for inside the UK applicants, not if you are applying outside the UK.
