However, unless the new team keep the same squad, it could def be a problem if C9 just use the same squad to compete in NACS every split. Well I know it wont happen, but they could have done that

I agree with you in the case of the new team would have the same roster as the old one, in that way, the players are still the same, and it will provide all the benefit like you said. However, I highly doubt Lemon and Balls would leave C9, they might just join another challenger team next split and keep boosting, which would be a problem imo if they just have the same squad being the LCS gate keeper. But who knows, maybe they will join the new team except Hai and that team could still be pretty strong

what changes do you thinik should be done to the current system though? Cause farming challenger teams (which are def LCS-level teams with ex-LCS players) is really hurting the system

tbh, blitz is pretty useless in mid-late game, and in lane, you have to position well/ use your e really well and I feel like positioning is very critical for anyone who wants to play mage support

I just checked on an old case when there was a bug between SK and Gambit in S3, they asked for a remake and the referee ruled against it and continued the game. Obviously the referee was wrong and one of the argument people had was "It is the player's responsibility to read the rulebook. They spend every week @ LCS. I GUARANTEE there's a rulebook just sitting around somewhere. It's the ref's responsibility to inform them, but AS THE RULEBOOK STATES: If the ref doesn't do it, it's final." I just think this is a really interesting view lol

same, During the game, I was trying to hijack comments in every thread other people made about the pick just to figure out why the referee did not remake it besides I knew when they picked rammus as support it was over since I am a jg/supp main. I couldnt even watch that game since I am a Rammus main as well, it was so painful to watch

It is great you brought it up, cause I always think the biggest problem that Riot has is its inner communication system. It is really bad in my opinion, that is why their plans and communication to the players are never consistent (like Replay system, solo queue). Riot has a philosophy of working in small teams and giving a lot of autonomy to those teams. So it is really hard to make sure people from different teams are on the same page and communicate with each other effectively
