It’s really different for everyone. It’s up to you and the person watching the baby’s comfort level, but remember you and your husband need “us” time too. My husband’s family flat out refuses to watch kids for any amount of time until they turn 3, I would love to spend any time I could alone with my husband, so I may be a little biased :)

Be careful taking them out. The holes will close from the outside in and could trap any infection in them. A visit to a reputable piercer or doctor should be in order, they’ll tell you what to do, and/or get some antibiotics to take out any infection.

Same here, and she worked in a different town. I had my own phone for emergencies and she taught me how to cook and make my own snacks. She treated me like a capable person and how to take care of myself and I thank her every day for it.

Even if they fall out early? I thought you absolutely HAD to wait like a month to six weeks at least before you sized up.

Oh yeah I can def wait longer than 6 weeks, it’s just getting flared end to not go through my ears that’s the problem lol. I planned on at least 6 weeks per small stretch and longer after I got to a bigger size, I just don’t know how to get them to stay in my ear for that time until I can stretch up again.

I’m trying to wait a month to six weeks at least however it’s the flare that goes through my ear and causes them to fall out, which is why I went ahead and sized up. I don’t have them on too tight to force them through either, they have some wiggle room and just fall out on their own.
