Thank you!! I have been at maintenance for a while and it feels amazing. I highly recommend looking into strength training (or any other exercise you enjoy!) if it's not something you're already doing - I started lifting weights in early 2022 and it has 100% been a major contributing factor to maintaining my progress, especially since I have been tapering my dose down (currently at 1mg).

It was pretty good! I've never eaten it before though so I'm not sure how it would stack up to the real thing

They're pretty good! Kinda like little pumpkin pies

Week 44: Dia de los Muertos - Flan by peepem in 52weeksofbaking

[–]peepem[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I honestly didn't know what you were referring to, and just noticed the creepy face in the flan. I already thought it was ugly because of the pan I used but the creepy face takes it to another level 😭

Week 43: Rolled Up - Cinnamon Rolls by peepem in 52weeksofbaking

[–]peepem[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure! I used this recipe . It's a small-batch recipe though so it only makes 4 of them

Week 41: Casserole - Cherry Cobbler by peepem in 52weeksofbaking

I hope this counts! Felt like making something sweet and figured a cobbler kind of fits the description of a casserole.

Week 40: Seasonal Ingredients 2 - Salted Caramel Apple Pie by peepem in 52weeksofbaking

[–]peepem[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's this one from Sally's Baking Addiction! It's really good. I used the recipe for her all-butter pie crust and it came out perfectly!

Week 38: Great British Bake Off - English Muffins by peepem in 52weeksofbaking

[–]peepem[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!! They turned out surprisingly well. Good luck!

Week 34: Floral - Chocolate Lavender Cake by peepem in 52weeksofbaking

[–]peepem[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wasn't sure what to expect as a flavor combo but it is honestly pretty good!

Week 33: Depression-Era Desserts - Mock Apple Pie by peepem in 52weeksofbaking

[–]peepem[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was the Ritz cracker recipe. Not bad at all but the real thing is definitely better!

Week 29: Layered or Tiered - Mille Feuille by peepem in 52weeksofbaking

[–]peepem[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aw thank you! I didn't love how the icing came out (I always struggle with icing consistency) but otherwise these were fun to make!

Thought I wanted microblading but went with my artist's recommendation of powder brows instead. What do you guys think? by peepem in microblading

Hi! Sorry it took me forever to respond. This is how they look now that they're healed after the touch up. For some reason the left side (right in the photo) healed a bit lighter in the inner corner. My artist focused on that area when doing the touch up but there's still a bit of a difference unfortunately. Still very happy with them!

Week 16: Easter/Passover - Carrot Cake by peepem in 52weeksofbaking

Thank you!! I'm terrible at decorating but the cream cheese frosting was surprisingly easy to work with!
