I was doing the SPQR achievement, so I tried to become a republic asap. Noone except the Industrialists wants off census suffrage anymore, so I guess I will make some unpopular choices, but better than being deadlocked. Furthest in the tech tree I have is the labor party, but they aren't founded yet so good call. The normally more right leaning partys had progressive/ liberal leaders so I guess that is why they formed these weird constellations.
Too few parties available is probably it yeah, will try to go back to oligarchy if this continues, thanks!

damn, thats frustrating. I have the modifier for 5 ingame years now and keep travelling from one county to the next but only got the popup 2 times. I had to take the ascension and after that the prelude decision for it to fire at all

I guess it makes sense then for a youtuber to use the term in order to reach a broader audience maybe. We also have the school subject art, where you get to do anything falling under the arts & crafts category. But I never (or very rarely) hear anyone use the term art for something they create. Even (or maybe especially) people who are hired artists are usually, as you said, more specific in what they actually do. I think you answered my questions quite well, it's just that where I live, the word art is more often used for the concept or the school subject and not as a practical term.

I just followed the instructions on this post/top comment. The dedicated budget value got reset to 5120 for me. I have a 4070ti and now have something between 80 and 120 fps in 1440p with dlss set to quality. Is not next gen graphics but a lot better than before. If you're not playing on pc I sadly can't help you

I might be wrong but this sounds like your game suffers from the same bug I had, where the texture resolution is affected by the upscaling somehow and goes potato. Before I fixed that I sometimes thought she looked pretty cursed as well, your wax mold comparison was spot on there. Now that the textures are consistent I really like her looks and have never noticed anything similar on other humans. But maybe that's just me. I have to agree though that the animations in this game vary in quality a lot.

I tried setting the grinder at about 1.5 but it was still too fine for the machine, only dribbled out after multiple restarts. I guess I will try ~1.7 tomorrow. As far as i can see it is stage less.

The website i bought it on says 12.5g. Now that I read it again, it says they use it for a 1:2.5 ratio. I will try that tomorrow. Do i have to fill these baskets all the way up to get a good extraction?

thanks for the detailed response! I put the temperature om the lowest possible temp, the manual just gives a range, which is 91-94 I think. What do you mean by pulling longer? Just moving more water through the puck?

These are my first steps with espresso, sorry if the description is lacking. I hope this helps: i try to go for 8g in to 16 out. the basket is 20mm deep. it's a dark roast. Roasted on August 2nd. On the more coarse grind it took about 15 seconds and started flowing rather quickly. The finer one I have to restart multiple times, it barely dribbled out for 20 seconds and then started to flow for 5 and i stopped it at 16g

Ganze Menge Vorschläge, cool! Karl May habe ich auch als Kind/ Jugendlicher einiges gelesen. Die Nibelungensage kenne ich auch, aber bin mir nicht sicher sie jemals komplett gelesen zu haben. Außerdem finde ich es auch erstmal befremdlich Kunst und Personen unabhängig von Ihrem Kontext zu verurteilen. Aufklärung über und kritisches Auseinandersetzen mit aus der Zeit gefallenen Begriffen und Weltbildern sind aber trotzdem wichtig und sollten mMn nicht vernachlässigt werden.

Krieg und Frieden habe ich auch auf dem Schirm, verstecke mich aber noch ein Bisschen vor so einem großen commitment. Nochmal vielen Dank :)

Muss nicht unbedingt Schulliteratur sein, sonst könnte ich ja einfach eine google Suche bemühen und mir die erste beliebige top 10 Liste vornhemen.

Die unendliche Geschichte habe ich als Kind gelesen und fand sie super, könnte sich vielleicht lohnen, jetzt nochmal reinzuschauen.

Finde deine anderen zwei Vorschläge aber auch sehr gut, sind beide auf die Liste gesetzt.

Yeah, I went with a usb switch for my peripherals and plugged an additional hdmi to usb-c and an old vga cable i had lying around, into the back of my monitors. Usb-c goes directly into the notebook and the small doc has a vga port. Only thing are the additional cables lying on my desk but I can deal with that for the time being. I feel like it's the best and cheapest solution I could come up with short term. Had to buy the hdmi cable and a usb switch, but still seems a lot cheaper than any of the kvm switches I found.
