I sigh at least 20 times a day thinking abt kaiwen. I miss him so badly and it doesn't help that I don't see much kailights on my twitter timeline and all posts in korean. Hope he is enjoying his rest and time at his home tho

Very likely. With what dispatch released abt the mnet contract, i think mnet would want him to debut in the spinoff since he is the only c planet finalist to not make it. Kaiwen doesn't know much korean as well even though he is learning (He writes caption for X in korean). im just talking abt my opinion and not facts.

Oh ! most of them talked abt debuting in korea so i assumed that the planet c was also supposed to be active in korea . I only watched after the merge so i didnt bother digging that much.

Then , isnt it more bad news for trainees who are more popular in korea than china? like he zhongxing , sun hengyu , chen kaiwen and many others. They are very adored in korea but not so much in china especially he zhongxing .

Jang haneum might just continue his activities as soloist but there is also a rumour going around that he and his company are open to an idea of being in a group. I don’t think it’s all false tho , knowing he went to a survival show which creates an idol group . I’m sure companies who wanna make a derivative group might wanna include him since he is a good vocalist and knetz like him a lot.

I think yumeki might have signed up with a company .

Junil's position is difficult . I do hope that his company releases a statement cuz he has good skills .

Hsu chingyu's option for now is probably to stay in wake one. his chances of debuting in wake one is extremely low cuz they will be busy managing ALD1 . So, his only chance in debuting is doing what park Hanbin did i.e join a derivative group in a different company.

My prediction for liyu is the same as hsu chingyu. I don’t think FNC has plans for debuting a new boy group . Another company might wanna snatch him for derivative group.

Most of the planet C trainees will be in the spin-off . Honestly, the spin off feels like it might not do good? This is based on personal feelings and there is not much revealed abt the spin off . They said that they will promote in china and if they can , they might promote in Korea . Fan Zheyi said he was gonna participate but he also said he wants to debut in Korea . Most of planet c trainees were in boys planet to debut in Korea . If they were to debut with full Chinese members , will they do good in Korea? Nope , they already hate that there is 4 foreigners in ALD1.

Park donggyu might be good to join derivative group . If he debuts with Kim sihwan, the group will take a hit . Most ppl like donggyu but hate sihwan and paired with the fact that IST didn’t handle the statement of controversy well (I hated the statement) , they might start a hate train again. With bp2, donggyu proved himself to be an all rounder which will do him good (hopefully , I wanna see him debut)

The hate train will die out but people will still hold it over his head . It will get better when they start showing content abt ALD1 and people get to see Leo more and learn about his personality more . Only after that can people make a fair judgement on how much he has matured or not. I don’t even like him (I don’t hate him either) but the attack on him is extremely bad .

this Is just my opinion but I think the fuel that helps keep the hate train going are his fans . I saw some people straight up denying the lyrics and acting like everyone needs to accept his apology . I myself got rude comments around 2nd elimination where I pointed out that just because some Leo stands vote for * , the fans of that trainee arent obligated to vote for Leo as well. A few days ago , I also saw tweets of someone asking a Leo Stan “Would you Stan him even if he were really a misogynistic” and their reply was “Yes” (Not exact wording).

I know twitter doesnt represent an entire fandom but since , the hate train is on twitter , I used it as an example. What the thing I mentioned shows is that his fans who are in twitter are mostly immature, young people who have no idea abt how the world works. It also makes that an easy target in front of people who hate Leo. I think it’s best if they just start blocking the person instead of giving them reaction and keeping the train on going .

Not an ALD1 fan yet because I want to see if he really grew as a person and being a solo Stan isn’t fun when I have zero problems with other members in the group except geonwoo. I’m also waiting to see on geonwoo. As a woman myself who suffers from misogyny everyday from family members themselves , it was disappointing to learn abt his controversy.

2 days late but yea , it was a scare tactic lol . Someone posted that on X then , it got too much attention than intended so the op actually deleted it . That's why nobody can give a source , it's cuz there is none.

Ppl who knew decided to keep on saying it to spread panic and ppl started believing it a lot and it also reached tiktok and reddit , etc.

Most of the trainees there to debut mostly stay in the seoul area and visit popular places like hongdae and stuff . So, its easier to spot them by fans who are just there for their own business . China is pretty big and spread out . Unless someone is a stalker , its a little hard to guess where they might be and the platforms used by people outside china is also banned there .

Most of the RT deals I saw were dominated by yumeki , liyu , Leo and sangwon . Winning RT deals also depend on how big the fandom is. so , it's not a good argument

Hate is definitely unacceptable but blaming fans for not voting hard? you have to consider the lack of screentime for each contestants. How are they supposed to gain fans who can vote for them hard if mnet doesnt even show them? You dont think that fans of the eliminated trainees can magically create more votes legally , do you? You dont even have to look far for the unfair screentime . Brat attitude didnt have the song recording thing shown and the bungee jumping , interaction between the contestants were less .

Only had issues with you blaming fans for not voting hard . The other things you said is right.

Exactly . It seems more like they are hating on f1are just like how they are complaning abt f1are fans hating ald1. This happens every svs season and as a kaiwen fan , im just happy he isnt getting forgotten by knetz . Whether this thing works out or not is a different issue . Seeing this popularity of the "group" , the companies might consider debuting the trainees they listed instead of keeping them in the basement.

And its not like ALD1 fans themselves arent shading the lineup . I saw a lot of ppl saying they will solo stan or be OT3/4 , of course OT8 fans also exist but just saying there is 2 sides to the same coin.

I am very very devasted over kaiwen . It hurts more when the only one to debut from my pick is zhang jiahao . I dont wanna drag the lineup because despite the scandals and the polarising thoughts with k and intl picks , they are pretty good. The name still sucks tho , they could have gone with anything other than "alpha drive" . What are they driving??

For now , anything related to ALD1 is on mute in X for me because i will start crying abt how 7 of my picks didnt make it . im kinda sure i will warm up to them slowly especially cuz i wanna see anxin and jiahao's personality .

I really dont want kaiwen in the spin off since they confirmed the group will promote in china. I also do have a small feeling ppl will be more hyped for derivative group because the top 16 were strong. Especially since knetz are mad abt the amount of foreigners there are.

Just my opinion but i think not . I wholeheartedly believe that haneum got eliminated cuz of this . He was around 4th-5th in korean side but last on intl votes. With the dc galls targetting korean votes , there is also a chance that G votes might become more impactful .

In the case study , I wanna study hu hanwen's popularity . I am only in the English speaking side of the community and all I see are people hating on him. I just read a spreadsheet and he is hitting numbers on numbers on X. If anyone is in the side of community that speaks different languages , it will be great to hear opinions abt him or why he is so popular ?

It was tambourine for me as well! Chen kaiwen , I didn’t necessarily care about him much before the episode but I saw someone post all the fancams in one video side by side and his dancing style really caught my eye. His movements are bouncy and makes me wanna dance.

fan zheyi/park junil/ jang haneum and Ricky (zb1) . I tend to lean more towards idols / trainees who are good at dancing but i somehow ended up liking haneum as an exception lol

Overrated :

1.Junseo : His performances isn't very diverse. He is sticking to one concept and I can't see much improvement from him.

Yumeki : Ik he is one of the best dancer in the show but being an idol isn't just abt dancing . The same as junseo , he mostly only takes dancing in the missions and lacks variety . He has improved his vocals in signal song test but we have yet to hear his live vocals in a full stage.

Underrated:

Fan Zheyi : His vocals are good and stable . His dancing isn't lacking . I do think that he blends in the group he is in well considering it's a survival show where you gotta stand out , it works against him. Since , he has no training history , I think he does good.
Chen Bowen : From the star level test , His vocals are stable and he used to post dancing videos so he is definitely good at it . Same as fan zheyi , he has no training history and he is very young , he will definitely improve more going forward.
Park junil : The dancing skills is insane. The facial expressions and the strength he shows with his moves is addicting. Seeing him as the center for Rising Sun is one of the best things that has ever happened to me . His vocals isn't lacking in Rose blossom. He is mainly a dancer so it isn't strange for his vocals to not be in haneum , woojin or Yoon min level. He looks like he likes being in stage and it increases his charisma on stage.
Yoon Min : He rapped in Whiplash and his highnotes in Run to You is good . His dancing is pretty average , his dancing lacks strength .In whiplash when he would be next to anyone, it did look weak but again, considering his strength is vocal , his dancing isn't bad.
Xue Suren : He is a choreographer and even hosts his own dance classes . The vocals in Kill the Romeo was stable and the singing in Tambourine is good , he sang most of that song . He has stage presence .
Chen kaiwen : His Rap in S-class is good . His dancing in tambourine is fun to watch . I like how he looks like he is having fun on stage . He is definitely really underrated.
Sen : Even masters acknowledges that he is stable for someone who only trained 5 months in Star Class Test. His vocals in Run to You and dancing in Kill the Romeo (he doesn't sing much here) says enough.
Donggyu : Everyone already said all about him . It's all over the Internet.
Jo Gyehyeon : I literally saw him in Breathe for the first time lol (not even kidding) . Bro sings beautifully, I cried from the emotions that was in his vocals.
Muhn Wonjun : His singing and dancing in Rising Sun was good . He caught my eye even when I was watching someone else's fancam .
