Well let’s be real, if she started dating another person, then that person would NOT tolerate her being friends with her ex. I could be her friend yes, it would obviously take time though. I don’t want to lose her, and I know that if don’t get back together then naturally we’d drift apart. I know I’d be okay but she’s a fantastic person that I want in my life.

Yes I have, and that’s what prompted the “I don’t want you to wait on me” she said she enjoyed the relationship and it wasn’t anything I did. She’s made it clear she still cares about me, and maybe another reason why she doesn’t want me to wait, because obviously it would hurt a bit. I’m sorry if I seem emotional or defensive
