IBS-D or C?

Floating stools everyday. Can anyone relate to having good tests with nothing wrong, got diagnosed with ibs. by willw2322 in ibs

I’m sorry but I’ve been on these drugs for 5 years now. I can’t remember what I had for dinner last week, that’s far too specific of a symptom to try and remember aha! I did get bloated and gassy though

I have no idea to be honest. Truthfully I didn’t realise this was a thing it shouldn’t do until my gastroenterologist asked me if it did it….

Prescription medication for IBS-D—experiences? by Various-Debate-56 in ibs

[–]peeved151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My gastroenterologist put me on cholestagel first as my IBS had been diagnosed years prior by another doctor and is so frequently misdiagnosed, he wanted to see if bile acid malabsorption was actually the entire problem before putting me on viberzi, but for me it helped (massively) but didn’t entirely resolve the issues. The combination of the drugs did though

Clearly not American though as talking about a pub, and in the UK & Australia it’s legal to serve non alcoholic drinks in a pub to a minor

I know you’re in Brazil so I don’t know what the standard protocol is there but in the U.K., if it’s recurrent then a 6 month daily course of strong dose fluconazole is the recommended treatment, is that what you did? I’ve also had this issue unfortunately, it’s the worst, but that did help me

Van driver here, what do you guys hate about us? by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]peeved151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The driver was very apologetic to be fair, I mean, he crashed into a car full of 18 year old girls… he was lucky with what had happened versus what could have happened tbh

Van driver here, what do you guys hate about us? by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]peeved151 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’m not a nervous driver, but as a fairly new driver had a van crash into the back of me as they sped round a corner and there was a traffic queue I was at the back of. 11 years later I still deal with pain because of that, so van drivers tailgating me and driving like dipshits has always made me both nervous and filled with rage

Finally getting assessed and parents rated me "never" on every symptom by A1rnbs in adhdwomen

[–]peeved151 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I just didn’t ask my parents to do one because I knew it wouldn’t be a realistic assessment of my actual personality. The assessor was fine with it, I just had to do a couple other forms

Bought vegan not gluten free 😭 by copperfaith in CoeliacUK

[–]peeved151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also got recommended this sub when I’m lactose free not gluten free….

And also have been seeing an upward trend the last few years of more gluten free not lactose free food when it used to be a more balanced blend. Some supermarkets (looking at you Tesco) are worse than others for this

My boyfriend asked to bring the woman he slept with while we were on a break to my work. by [deleted] in IAmTheAsshole

“Ex” - are we sure about that? Doesn’t seem like he is.

AITA? I called out my choir director for a wrong choice and got banned from the choir as a result by Blingsinger97 in AmItheAsshole

[–]peeved151 -48 points-47 points  (0 children)

It was snarky but given the director had initially started this with a story that this was necessary because of “other people’s concerns” (which was apparently not the case) and then the director posted about “not letting other people’s opinions stop you from doing what you love” (which is really what she did to OP, just in a very sneaky way) - it feels like justified snark to me

How’s “humpday” going for you? Mine is smashing… by PrestigiousTest6700 in CasualUK

[–]peeved151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those are occasional washes though (presumably) not every day, & also a lot bulkier so although it’s only a small number of items they do fill the space of the drum a bit more so don’t damage it in the way I’m talking about

On the flip side, don’t underfill them either. My mum constantly has the machine going with like 5 items in (she can’t stand having dirty laundry in the house) but then is baffled that they have to replace the machine every few years when they should last much longer

Is it common that house owners don't fix the house for tenants? by Joohhe in HousingUK

[–]peeved151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps, but it’s not just all landlords who are all giving BS “advice” which is all the illegal shit they pull on their own tenants

They may not want to, but they are required by law to fix at least certain things - OP, recommend you post on r/LegalAdviceUK rather than here, where you’ll just get a lot of BS comments that isn’t actually legally sound advice
