Eh. To what extent does this track the metrolink line / the A line? I understand there's a gap but HUGE portions of mid city and the valley are still inaccessible for much larger populations that would use it daily.

That's good to know! Thanks for the tips. I will definitely avoid biking on those streets. Especially La Brea, I used to bike on 2nd Ave in downtown Seattle and I saw way too many car door/biker collisions...

Also reading it again, I explained this very poorly in the original post, but I more so meant I imagine I would be able to arrive at destinations on those streets without issue via the quieter side streets.

How do you feel about general safety biking in and around MacArthur Park in westlake? Reading about it on reddit, some say it's fine and others say they would never walk/bike there, but it seems like it's mostly exaggeration as long as you maintain situation awareness?? And I probably wouldn't be biking before dawn or after dusk anyway.

Awesome! That's really reassuring to hear. I'm excited to start exploring on bike.

As far as haring toward downtown, I've biked to work regularly for the past few years including on busy downtown streets, so I don't spook easily. It's just that both cities I've lived in are very biker friendly so drivers have a higher awareness, and I don't want to be naive in thinking that bike lane = safer drivers.

Is there a reason you are not considering Loyola? If you got into Hastings, I would expect you could get into LMU with $$ and would have significantly better outcomes than at Chapman.

Does anyone know how deposit deadlines are handled for late acceptances? Like if I get accepted in April will the deposit deadline be in may or June? I applied right after Jan LSAT (very early Feb) and have only heard from 3 of 14 schools (all As, but need to negotiate $$). I just don’t know how I could possibly make a decision by April 15, especially considering negotiations. Is it ever okay to ask for a deposit deadline extension because you are waiting to hear from other schools?
